My husband bought me a Love My Read subscription for Christmas. Each month I get to choose from a selection of books and then I receive my chosen book along with some extras. The selection of books is pretty good and it covers a range of genres so there’s something for everyone, however, the extras aren’t that great, they’re a selection of treats for you to consume while reading. Love My Read were taken over by Fane last month and this was the first box that I’ve received since the takeover, I was excited to see if things had changed. They hadn’t. But the extras aren’t why I get the box, they’re just an added bonus.
A 12 month subscription is £162 plus £37 delivery, which works out at £16.58 a month.

- Your chosen book in a LoveMyRead branded cardboard box
- A chocolate bar, a can of drink (usually Kambucha), a sample size beauty product
- A couple of postcards with a book themed quote
- A bookmark
This month my book of choice was Elektra by Jennifer Saint, it’s a beautiful book and I’m excited to read it
